Welcome to The Annual High Desert Youth Football Championships. This year’s tournament will include some of the top youth football organizations in the United States. The tournament will be hosted by the New Mexico Young America Football League (N.M.Y.A.F.L.) The event check in will begin on Friday, November 15, 2013 and the Tournament will officially kickoff on Saturday November 16, 2013 and end on Sunday, November 17, 2013. Our tournament age groups will range from 7 to 15 years of age with designated age weight limits for each age group.

 

The tournament will include a minimum of two games per participating team, with the possibility of a third game to determine a true Champion. All games will be played at Mesa Del Sol Park located adjacent to the Hardc Rock Pavillion. Each 1st place team will be awarded a Championship Trohpy and all participants will receive commemorative High Desert Championship Medals. 

We know that you will enjoy some great football during your stay at the tournament and when your children are not playing football we encourage you to take advantage of what our partners at the Gravity Park, It'z Family Fun Center, Bowling and Laser Tag at Isleta, and Indoor Go Carts at Albuquerque Carting have to offer. As a high desert tournament participant your can take advantage of some great discounts from these fantastic partners.

After completion of your team’s games we encourage you to take the opportunity to visit one or more of the following attractions: The Sandia Tram, The Old Town of Albuquerque and a host of other sites and attractions. There will be great hotel accommodations available offering discounted group rates and outstanding restaurant options. Also, there will be an awards ceremony after completion of all Championship games.

The tournament check in and weigh in will be held Friday November 15th at the Marriott Pyramid.Locatated at 5151 San Francisco NE. Directions: I-25 go west on Paseo Del Norte South on Jefferson to San Francisco. Phone # 505-821-3333. Check in time is from 4:00- 9:00 PM. A valid Birth Certificate must be presented at weigh ins. If you can't make these times your players will be weighed at the fields.
